Direct tv and dish network

Does any have the same issues or a good solution to my proble? I would love to have a sattelite dish installed and have tried with dish network and direct tv but there are trees in the way of the signal and I dont want to cut any d own :( Please help.....

Hi Timdogg: This is a tough one. Trees are the killer of satellite signals, even a single leaf in the way can kill it for you. If you've had both DISH and Direct at your house and they've both said "no" it's very likely "no." We've put dishes on poles and in trees in the past, but it's a very expensive proposition... and the real problem is there's no absolute way to know without doing 99 pct. of the install, you've got to be willing to actually put that DISH up on the pole or up in that tree to make absolutely sure. You might spend $500 and still end up with a no can do and have a shiny 8 ft. pole as a souvenir. I totally hate to dash someone's dreams of satellite, but it is probably time to just suck it up and call Blue Ridge Cable. Ed
