Orthodontist - Monday, February 27, 2006 8:27 PM
Is there a Orthodontist around the area who takes Tricare or the plan like 1-800-dentist?
My grandaughter has braces from Tampa which she got when they were displaced by Katrina.
She is now with me and the wire broke and is poking her mouth.  She needs to see another doctor.  I can't afford to pay a full bill.  The closest dentist with this plan is all the way in Lancaster with no evening or weekend hours.

HELP!

The only way to see what dentists accept the insurance is to ge their list, which sounds like what you already did.  One suggestion is to go to your Dentist and just have him snip the wire.  It will render the braces temporarily ineffective but at least it won't poke her.  Any Dentist can due this on an emergency basis.
