The way the weather stations are talking between lightening, wind and hail I think we may lose power so I will have to get plenty of water for the pets ready later.

I will be joining your three as I am scared myself I just hope the trees stay standing.
Ever since we had a storm and I watched a bunch of trees fall I am a wreck. U would think I would cut them all down but I love the trees so I am an idiot.

If my bathroom was bigger I would invite you over but I just about fit with my three.
I have to remember to close the windows. I have casement windows and if I leave them open, I'm afraid the wind will rip them right off the house. So here I'll be in a house with windows closed shut, in the bathroom with three howling dogs.

but I love the trees so I am an idiot.
IMB you are NOT!!! Yes there is always a tree risk...but they shade your yard/house. Imagine how hot it would be or how much harder your A/C would have to work. Only in the event of a tree being dead &/or a hazard to your house should you cut it down.
Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.
Women & Cats will do as they please. Men & Dogs had better get used to it.

Well the thunderstorms are popping up all over on the radar.  Some do have hail, and strong winds.[sm=crazy.gif] Be careful, I am preparing my basement for cover as I am a chicken when it comes to storms.  Oh boy as I was typing it got dark out. Time to shut off comuter and a/c.

Well the first round was wild. Knocked the power right out for about 45 minutes. Now I hear thunder again, hope it's not as bad. It is scary to be in the basement with terrible lightening, darkness and the sound of thunder and fire engines screaming. U don't know what's going on outside but I was too afraid to go upstairs and look.
Did something get hit?

I had dime size hail and a few nickel size but the smaller ones melted as soon as they hit the hot ground.
